titleOfInvention Transparent soap bar
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for expanding a transparent area of a soap bar without impairing foaming or foam quality. SOLUTION: A solid soap contains polyglycerol and an ester of a linear saturated fatty acid to form a transparent soap. Such a linear saturated fatty acid ester of polyglycerol is preferably one having a property as a hydrophilic surfactant. Specifically, the average degree of polymerization of glycerol is 5 to 15, and at least a free hydroxyl group is present. A form having 4 or more, preferably 8 to 10 is preferred. Among these, a decaglycerin skeleton is particularly preferable. Moreover, as a saturated linear fatty acid residue, a lauric acid residue, a myristic acid residue, a palmitic acid residue, a stearic acid residue, a behenic acid residue etc. can be illustrated suitably, A lauric acid residue is especially preferable.
