abstract | An object of the present invention is to obtain accurate measurement data of treatment agent concentration by suppressing the influence on the measurement accuracy of dissolved organic matter in sample water taken from an aqueous system. SOLUTION: A treatment agent C made of an anionic polymer electrolyte added to a liquid in an aqueous system and a reaction reagent R are chemically reacted to produce an insoluble substance, and the concentration of the treatment agent C is measured by a turbidimetric method. In this method, there is provided a method or means for measuring the concentration of an aqueous treatment agent in which the reaction reagent R and the salt S are added to the sample water W 1 taken from the aqueous system.
