A conductive ink excellent in conductivity capable of forming a film by baking at a low temperature and a metal colloid liquid capable of producing the conductive ink are prepared. In a colloidal metal solution composed of a solid component composed mainly of particles composed of a metal component and an organic component, and a solvent, an absorption peak in an ultraviolet-visible absorbance analysis of the particles is obtained in a wavelength range of 300 nm to 410 nm. And the absolute value of the absorbance at the peak value is Ap, and the minimum absorbance in the wavelength region of 800 nm or less longer than the peak wavelength is Am, the ratio Ap / Am of both is 16 or less.
