titleOfInvention | LIQUID CRYSTAL DEVICE HAVING POROUS BODY LAYER, METHOD FOR PRODUCING POROUS BODY MEMBRANE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING LIQUID CRYSTAL DEVICE HAVING POROUS BODY LAYER |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal element suitable for high definition and a manufacturing method thereof by improving the reflectance of a scattering type liquid crystal element without using a gas layer using a substrate and a spacer for a low refractive index layer. . The present invention is a liquid crystal element sandwiched between two substrates 1 and 2 and laminated with a porous body layer 3, an electrode 4, a liquid crystal layer 6, an electrode 5 and an absorption layer 7 in this order. By using a highly porous film, a large refractive index difference can be formed in the layer structure in the element, and a high reflectance scattering liquid crystal element can be formed.
