abstract A newsprint with easy color adjustment and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. In newsprint mainly composed of a plurality of types of pulp, at least two types of basic dyes are contained, and the surface color tone measured according to JIS-Z-8722 is L = 75.0-80. By adjusting to 0.0, a = −3.50 to 0.50, and b = 3.50 to 7.50, it is possible to obtain newspaper paper having a color tone with excellent color developability. [Selection] Figure 1
