A non-aqueous secondary battery comprising an organic polymer and glass whose main component is silicon dioxide (SiO 2), containing 50 to 90% by weight of the glass, and having a film thickness of 10 to 35 μm. A separator made of lithium, and a solution comprising a lithium salt and a soluble non-aqueous solvent as an electrolyte, and a lithium-containing transition metal oxide capable of electrochemically reversibly doping and dedoping lithium as a positive electrode, Provided is a nonaqueous secondary battery characterized in that a material capable of electrochemically reversibly doping and dedoping lithium is used as a negative electrode and the separator is provided.
