titleOfInvention Siloxane resin
abstract The present invention relates to R 1 SiO 3/2 siloxane units and (R 2 O) b SiO (4-b) / 2 siloxane units, wherein R 1 is independent of the group consisting of alkyl having 1 to 5 carbon atoms. Wherein R 2 is independently selected from the group consisting of branched alkyl groups having from 3 to 30 carbon atoms, and b is from 1 to 3). The siloxane resins, 1: 99 to 99: containing 1 and R 1 SiO 3/2 units (R 2 O) b SiO ( 4-b) / 2 units molar ratio. The siloxane resin is useful for making an insoluble porous resin and an insoluble porous coating. Heating the substrate coated with siloxane resin at a sufficient temperature results in removal of the R 2 O groups, the dielectric constant in the range of 2.1 to 3, porosity and 1 in the range of 2 to 40 volume%. Form an insoluble porous coating having a modulus in the range of 9-20 GPa.
