abstract | The present invention provides a method for designing oligonucleotide primers used in a multiplex amplification reaction. The present invention also provides a method for optimizing a multiplex amplification reaction. The invention also provides a method for performing highly multiplexed PCR in combination with the INVADER assay for genotyping using less than 150 pg of DNA per reaction. The invention also provides a method for detecting a mutation in a pooled nucleic acid sample. In particular, the invention provides compositions and methods for detecting mutations and measuring alleles in pooled nucleic acid samples using an Invader detection assay. |
