abstract The present invention relates to a novel method for joining plastic capsules for inhalation (2, 3), the resulting joint capsule and the device for carrying out the method. The capsule obtained by the method of the present invention is a disposable capsule, which preferably comprises a single dose of a pharmaceutical preparation which can be administered by inhalation, which preparation is in powder or liquid form. The shape and function of the capsules allow them to be used in powder inhalers or liquid sprays for aerosol generation. The aerosol so produced can be inhaled, for example, the pharmaceutical formulation can be administered via the pulmonary route.
