The present invention provides methods and agents for identifying and characterizing genes associated with a phenotype (eg, cancer and cell viability). Cells and transgenic non-human mammals that can be used in these methods are also provided in the present invention. In a first aspect, the present invention relates to a cancer (eg, skin cancer (eg, melanoma), lung cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, brain tumor, testicular cancer, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, child cancer). Methods for identifying cervical cancer, renal cancer, thyroid cancer, bladder cancer, esophageal cancer, cancer of the blood (eg, leukemia), or lymph adenocarcinoma) -related genes. |
