Disclosed is a method of crosslinking an acrylic ester copolymer by converting some of the ester groups into ester or amide groups containing unsaturation and then sulfur or peroxide curing the resulting polymer. The resulting crosslinked polymers often have excellent vulcanizate properties and are particularly useful as seals and gaskets in elastomeric form. |
