abstract |
An antireflection film can be formed on the visible light transmitting material. The antireflection film may be a laminate of two coating layers. The first coating layer can be formed from a composition that includes a metal alkoxide. The first coating layer can be cured by applying ultraviolet light or heat. A second coating layer can be formed from a second composition that includes an initiator and an ethylene-substituted monomer. The second composition can be cured by applying ultraviolet light. An anti-reflective coating can be applied to the plastic lens or plastic lens mold. |
