abstract |
The present invention relates to a method of controlling pests in genetically modified vegetable plants containing a gene obtained from Bacillus thuringiensis which encodes an insecticidal protein and expresses this protein. The invention applies a pesticidally effective amount of one or several compounds of the following groups (a)-(f) to a plant, its seed or regenerated product and / or the land on which it is grown: Characterized by: a) insecticidal organophosphorus compounds; b) pyrethroids; c) insecticidal carbamates; d) biopesticides; e) insecticidal growth regulators; f) other substances. The method of the present invention works synergistically with the transformed plants, allowing the amount of pesticides to be reduced and increasing and increasing the effectiveness of the transformed plants, providing economic and environmental benefits . |
