titleOfInvention Systems and methods for imaging cells
abstract The present invention relates to sample analysis. In particular, the present invention relates to methods and apparatus for examining specimen slides, including apparatus for holding slides. The invention also relates to an automatic aiming method for an imaging system and a method for adjusting vibration in an imaging system. In particular, the methods and devices may be applied to automated analysis of cell specimen slides. The apparatus of the present invention includes an optical instrument, a marker coupled to the optical instrument and disposed outside the field of view of the optical instrument, a specimen, and an inspection position in the optical path of the optical instrument and the specimen. An apparatus for marking a specimen comprising: a stage coupled to an optical device for moving the specimen to and from a marking position for marking with a marker. [Selection diagram] FIG.
