titleOfInvention | Method and apparatus for assessing the condition of organisms and natural products and for analyzing gas mixtures comprising major and minor components |
abstract | The present invention is a method for evaluating the state of living organisms and natural products by measuring one or more kinds of substances in a gas mixture, and applying an ion beam to a gas mixture sample to be analyzed in a high vacuum. The present invention relates to a method for performing measurement by a mass spectrometer that ionizes a sample molecule with the internal energy of ions of an ion beam by acting, and judges the state by evaluating a value obtained by the measurement. Furthermore, the present invention provides a mass spectrometer that applies an ion beam to a mixed gas sample in a high vacuum and ionizes the sample molecules with the internal energy of the ions of the ion beam. A method for analyzing a gas mixture containing the following subcomponents, wherein at least one main component is measured in a concentration range of 0.1% by volume or more, and at least one subcomponent is 0.1% by volume or less. A molecular beam is generated from a mixed gas sample to be analyzed in a constant-pressure intermediate vacuum using a pressure gradient in a capillary, and a high-vacuum is generated from the molecular beam in a high vacuum. Respectively, and relates to a mixed gas analyzer including a mass spectrometer provided with a gas sample introduction system for ionizing sample molecules of the second molecular beam. |
