titleOfInvention | Transparent or translucent cosmetic composition colored with pigment |
abstract | A transparent or opaque cosmetic composition colored with a pigment is provided. The present invention relates to a final cosmetic composition comprising at least one colored pigment having a turbidity of less than 800 NTU and being insoluble in said cosmetic base and having an average particle size of more than 100 nm in a transparent or translucent cosmetic base. A transparent or translucent cosmetic composition, characterized in that the composition comprises less than 0.5% by weight of the composition. The color pigments which can be used for coloring transparent or translucent compositions according to the invention are selected from a very wide range of colored inorganic, organic or composite pigments commonly used in the cosmetics field. The great variety of pigments that can be used alone or in combination for coloring transparent or translucent compositions makes it possible to obtain infinite shades, and thus makes it possible to obtain, in particular, anhydrous lipophilic cosmetic bases. In particular, the disadvantage of limiting the range of colors available for compositions containing dyes that dissolve in the base can be avoided. |
