titleOfInvention | Cleaning agents for contact lenses |
abstract | Intraocular methods for cleaning contact lenses involve the use of cleaning agents that use water-containing beads. The water-containing beads are prepared such that the bead size is smaller than the pointed openings. These are easily flushed from the eye's environment by the normal flow of tears. A cleaning agent can also be used to clean the contact lens, which is applied directly to the lens and rubbed in digital form to remove fine dust that has accumulated on the lens. In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a composition for cleaning a contact lens, the composition comprising water-containing beads having an average particle size of less than 100 μm, wherein at least 75% by weight of the water-containing beads comprises: It has an outer diameter of less than 50 μm. |
