Tertiary amines having a multiplicity of aromatic hetero substituents are useful as chemokine receptor modifiers. The present invention relates generally to novel compounds, pharmaceutical compositions and their uses. More particularly, the present invention relates to novel heterocyclic compounds that bind to chemokine receptors (including CXCR4 and CCR5) and show a protective effect against infection of target cells by human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). The invention further relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating a condition modulated by the chemokine receptor CXCR4 or CCR5. |
