titleOfInvention | How to treat a demyelinating disease |
abstract | The present invention provides a method for treating the severity of a paralytic disease in a subject by administering to a subject having a paralytic disease an effective amount of a neutralizing agent specific to 10 kDa interferon-inducible protein (IP-10). And a method for reversing its neurological effects. The method of the present invention comprises administering to a subject having a paralytic disease a therapeutically effective amount of a 10-kDa interferon-inducible protein (IP-10) -specific neutralizing agent, whereby the subject suffering from the paralytic disorder is administered. Promotes remyelination of denervated nerve fibers in the body and prevents further denervation of nerve fibers. |
