titleOfInvention | Integrated production method of olefin oxides |
abstract | The present invention relates to the use of (a) a gas mixture containing hydrogen, oxygen and an inert gas in the presence of a bimetallic catalyst based on palladium and platinum as active ingredient, with a concentration higher than 3% by volume. (B) preparing an alcohol or hydro-alcohol solution of hydrogen peroxide in step (a), wherein the alcohol or hydro-alcohol solution of hydrogen peroxide obtained in step (a) is suspended in a reaction solvent. Contacting with an olefin and a buffer in the presence of to obtain a reaction mixture containing the epoxide corresponding to the olefin, water and the alcohol solvent; (c) obtaining the alcohol stream from step (b) Separating and treating the obtained epoxide to remove the present nitride compound; (d) supplying the alcohol solvent obtained in the step (c) to the step (a). The present invention relates to an integrated continuous production method for epoxides. The process of the present invention uses the raw hydro-alcohol mixture at the bottom of the flash column to optionally dilute the alcohol or hydro-alcohol solution of hydrogen peroxide obtained in step (a) in an epoxidation plant. An additional step (e) with the required values may also be included. The process of the present invention operates under high safety conditions and with high overall efficiency in terms of productivity and selectivity. |
