titleOfInvention Detection of antibodies against gangliosides using solid-phase reactants coated with carbonyl groups
abstract Disclosed are methods for detecting antibodies to one or more ganglioside (s) of interest in a sample. In this method, a solid phase reactant having a carbonyl group attached thereto is fixed by an amide bond between the amino group of the target ganglioside and the carbonyl group attached to the solid phase reactant. Using the ganglioside (s) of interest linked to the phase reactant. The method of detecting an antibody against the ganglioside (s) of interest can be used in a method of diagnosing a neurological disorder in an individual.
