abstract | Methods are provided for forming sulfurized oligonucleotides. This method allows the formation of phosphorothioate linkages in oligonucleotides or analogs thereof without the need for complex solvent mixtures and repeated washings or solvent changes. By the method of the present invention, oligonucleotides having about 8 to about 50 nucleotides can be sulfided in higher yields than previously reported. |
