The present invention provides a method for nuclear transfer by selecting and separating G1 cells from a donor cell population. The method defines the cell cycle stage of the donor nucleus and can produce transgenic or non-transgenic cloned embryonic cells, reconstituted embryos and whole animals for agricultural, pharmaceutical, functional food and biomedical applications. This is more advantageous than the prior art. |
