titleOfInvention Thermoelectric material
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric material comprising an oxide ceramic and exhibiting a high figure of merit. SOLUTION: The thermoelectric material according to the present invention comprises a composite of two or more phases of an oxide thermoelectric material. In this case, it is preferable that two or more phases of the oxide thermoelectric material are layered oxide thermoelectric materials. It is preferable that at least one phase of the layered oxide thermoelectric material includes a CoO 2 layer composed of CoO 6 octahedron sharing edges. In particular, those containing a layered oxide thermoelectric material of two or more phases selected from CCO, NCO, four Cu layers and four Bi-based layers are preferable. In the thermoelectric material according to the present invention, it is preferable that at least one phase of the oxide thermoelectric material constituting the composite has a plane orientation degree or an axial orientation degree with respect to a specific crystal plane of a crystallite of 50% or more. .
