A three-dimensional network formed by the fiber diameter 1 to 1,000 nm, an aspect ratio 5-15000, BET specific surface area 2~2000m 2 / g, the peak intensity ratio of 1580 cm -1 and 1360 cm -1 of the Raman scattering spectrum (I 1360 / I 1580 ) contains 10 to 90% by mass of vapor grown carbon fiber having 0.1 to 2.0, has a porosity (V / V 0 ) of 0.50 to 0.99, and a specific surface area (by BET method). The present invention relates to a porous body having a particle size of 5 to 100 m 2 / g, a method for producing the same, and a use thereof. A vapor-grown carbon fiber contained in a porous body according to the present invention does not contain agglomerates, and a three-dimensional network of fibers whose fiber length is preserved is formed. A composite material (porous body) in which the effect of addition is exhibited by using carbon fibers can be easily manufactured. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1 |
