titleOfInvention Coke production method using woody biomass
abstract A process for producing high-strength coke by effectively utilizing woody biomass is provided. SOLUTION: Biomass is previously pulverized in a pulverizer 1 to about 10 mm or less. The pulverized biomass is conveyed to a solvent extraction tank 2, and after extracting low molecular components contained in the biomass with a solvent such as ethanol, the mixture is heated to 150 to 350 ° C. by a heater 3 and heated by a molding machine 4. It is pressed and formed into a biomass molded product. The biomass molded product is carbonized and carbonized in the carbonization furnace 7 to produce coke. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1
