abstract An object of the present invention is to obtain a flame-retardant resin composition which is non-halogen, has excellent flame retardancy, mechanical properties, and extrudability, and does not generate outgas such as siloxane. A flame-retardant resin composition comprising 80 to 140 parts by weight of melamine cyanurate per 100 parts by weight of an olefin resin containing an acid-modified polyethylene. The olefin resin is preferably a mixture of 40 to 100 parts by weight of acid-modified polyethylene and 0 to 60 parts by weight of polyethylene having a density of 0.85 to 0.96 g / cm 3 .
