The medium of the present invention is a medium for culturing microorganisms, wherein a solubilized solution obtained by solubilizing okara contains at least one component selected from proteins, peptides and amino acids or salts thereof. It is characterized by being added. For the protein or peptide, for example, a protein or peptide containing glutamic acid as a constituent amino acid is used, and for the amino acid or a salt thereof, glutamic acid or a salt thereof is used. In the present invention, a medium to which soymilk is added as a protein source is particularly preferably used.
