abstract | The present invention provides an acrylic acid-based crosslinked copolymer having both excellent water absorption and stability under high temperature conditions in the presence of salt under acidic conditions. As a constituent monomer, a monomer (A) represented by the general formula (1), a monomer (B) represented by the general formula (2), and a crosslinking agent monomer (C) are contained. : (B) = 99: 1 to 70:30 (molar ratio), and (C) is a crosslinked copolymer in which 0.3 to 5 mol% of the total amount of constituent monomers.
