abstract |
An anode of an electrolyte-electrode assembly is not affected by oxygen in exhaust gas, and the power generation efficiency can be improved with a simple configuration. A fuel cell includes an electrolyte-electrode assembly in which a cathode electrode and an anode electrode are provided on both surfaces of an electrolyte. The anode electrode 54 is, for example, a porous material containing Ni as a constituent material. A protective layer for preventing exhaust gas from entering the inside of the anode electrode 54 is provided on an outer peripheral surface of the anode electrode 54.
