abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a method for suppressing an increase in the total amount of oligomers such as cyclic trimers without deteriorating the appearance of a molded product when molding a Ti-based catalyst polyethylene terephthalate. SOLUTION: Polyethylene terephthalate produced by using Ti as a catalyst is coated on polyethylene terephthalate so that the reduction of P is in the range of 3 to 50 ppm when the pellet surface is washed with water or acetone.
