titleOfInvention | Halogen-free flame retardant resin composition |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to obtain a non-halogen flame-retardant resin composition which has high flame retardancy, has good mechanical properties and workability, and is hardly damaged when used as an insulator of an insulated wire. A base polymer comprising 40 to 60 parts by weight of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, 10 to 55 parts by weight of an ethylene-methyl acrylate copolymer or ethylene acrylic rubber, and 5 to 30 parts by weight of a styrene thermoplastic elastomer is provided. A resin composition comprising 180 to 250 parts by weight of magnesium hydroxide and 1 to 20 parts by weight of zinc hydroxystannate in each part. Styrene-based thermoplastic elastomers have a styrene content of 3 to 30 wt% and an MFR of 1 to 30, magnesium hydroxide has a surface treated with methacrylsilane or vinylsilane, and zinc hydroxystannate has a Those surface-treated with stearic acid are preferred.
