abstract [PROBLEMS] To provide an expression system, particularly a host-vector system, which enables large-scale production of a protein in a microorganism belonging to the genus Humicola, particularly Humicola insolens, and a method for producing a protein using the same. Kind Code: A1 An expression vector containing regulatory sequences of a cellulase NCE1 gene or NCE2 gene derived from Humicola insolens, ie, a promoter, a signal sequence, and a terminator, is constructed and used. [Effect] With this expression vector, for example, cellulase NCE4 can be extremely efficiently produced in Humicola insolens at about 4.5 g or more per liter of culture solution.
