titleOfInvention Peptide and fertilizer for plant cultivation containing peptide
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify an amino acid sequence of a peptide having utility, particularly a peptide having utility such as a plant physiologically active function, and to extract / synthesize a peptide having such utility. Further, the present invention provides a fertilizer for plant cultivation containing a physiologically active peptide. SOLUTION: A peptide consisting of an amino acid sequence represented by MGQ is separated from a germinated soybean extract and purified using reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (reverse-phase HPLC). In addition, a peptide having an amino acid sequence represented by M (O) GQ is obtained by oxidizing methionine contained in MGQ. Assay of pollen tube elongation promoting activity of these peptides and assay of Komatsuna root elongation promoting activity are performed by the diffusion method and the uniform concentration method. Plants are cultivated by adding a peptide having the amino acid sequence represented by M (O) GQ into soil or spraying the peptide on leaves. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1
