abstract [Problem] To provide a yellow color-type heat-sensitive recording material having good background preservation (raw preservation) and excellent color development. A heat-sensitive recording material comprising a heat-sensitive recording layer comprising, on a support, at least one diazo compound and at least one coupler compound that reacts with the diazo compound and develops color. At least one of the coupler compounds is a heat-sensitive recording material characterized in that it is an anilide derivative represented by the following general formula (1) or a tautomer thereof.
