abstract An object of the present invention is to stably carry a biological physiologically active substance on a stent body without decomposing and deteriorating the biological physiologically active substance. Provided is a stent that can be controlled so that release into a lumen is promoted. A stent for indwelling in a lumen in a living body, the living body including a stent body and at least one kind of lipophilic biological physiologically active substance provided on a surface of the stent body. A biologically active substance layer, and a first controller covering the outer surface of the biological physiologically active substance layer, wherein the first controller has a second controller embedded or dispersed therein. The second control body has a larger permeability coefficient of the biological physiologically active substance contained in the biological physiologically active substance layer than the first control body.
