abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for inhibiting the protein of Mx protein in a human whole blood cell lysate, and more particularly, to an Mx protein assay as a method for showing the efficacy of interferon therapy. A method for inhibiting the proteolysis of a thermostable intracellular protein is described. The method comprises the steps of adding one or more denaturants to a sample containing the protease and the protein of interest and heating the resulting solution at a temperature and for a period of time sufficient to denature the protease. .
