titleOfInvention Cellulose ester film
abstract An object of the present invention is to suppress the deposition of foreign substances on a thin film product of a cellulose ester film used as a protective film for a polarizing plate with an increase in productivity (increase in production) of a liquid crystal display element, that is, a polarizing plate. Provided is a cellulose ester film having a large improvement effect on deterioration such as foreign matter precipitation and scratch generation. A cellulose ester film containing an ultraviolet absorber, wherein the ultraviolet absorber is liquid at 25 ° C., and its content is 0.5 to 2.5% by weight based on the weight of the cellulose ester. Wherein the cellulose ester film has a spectral transmittance at a wavelength of 500 nm of 93.5% or more and a spectral transmittance at a wavelength of 400 nm of 70.0% or more.
