The present invention provides 6- (2,7-octadienyl) -1,4-cyclooctadiene, a method for producing the same and use thereof. SOLUTION: Butadiene-1,3 is reacted using a catalyst system comprising a nickel complex compound, an organic phosphite and a dialkylaluminum alkoxide, remaining butadiene-1,3, resulting cyclooctadiene and cyclododecatriene. Is distilled off, and 6- (2,7-octadienyl) -1,4-cyclooctadiene is fractionally distilled from the residue under vacuum. The compounds are suitable for producing fragrances and pharmaceuticals and as crosslinkers in the production of rubber or as copolymers in the production of plastics. [Selection diagram] None |
