Purification method of α-hydroxycarboxylic acid |
abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a purification method capable of removing by-products by a simple method of α-hydroxy acid. Purify the α-hydroxy acid. In particular, when the α-hydroxy acid is mandelic acid and phenylglycine is contained as an impurity, high-purity mandelic acid can be obtained by cooling at the constant rate. This method is preferably used when the solution containing α-hydroxycarboxylic acid to be purified is produced by an enzymatic method. |
