abstract | In a tandem type image forming apparatus for sequentially transferring a toner image formed on a latent image carrier onto a recording material conveyed by a conveyance belt, a toner image transferred later by a previously transferred toner image To provide an image forming apparatus in which transfer of an image is not adversely affected. A latent image formed on each latent image carrier having a plurality of latent image carriers is developed by a toner image and then transferred to a transfer material on a recording material transport belt after development, and then fixed.
