titleOfInvention Method for producing cellulose ester film
abstract In a method of producing a cellulose ester film by a solution casting film forming method, by controlling various conditions of a tenter (a film stretching device in the width direction of the film), it is possible to improve the flatness of the film in the tenter and reduce the retardation value. Provided is a method that achieves both control and control of the orientation angle of the film edge (the direction of the optical slow axis) and enables the production of an optically excellent film. A cellulose ester solution (dope) is cast on a support, a solvent is evaporated on the support, and after the dope film is solidified, the dope is peeled off. A method for producing a cellulose ester film in which the film F is gripped at both ends in the width direction, and the film F is maintained in width, stretched in the width direction of the film F, and relaxed, and the film F is dried. The change in the amount of residual solvent in the film F in a section where both ends in the width direction of the film F is gripped is 25% by weight or less. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1
