titleOfInvention | Toner for developing electrostatic images |
abstract | Provided is a toner for developing an electrostatic image, which is capable of ensuring excellent fixability by compounding a small amount of wax and having excellent charge stability in long-term running. In a toner for developing an electrostatic image, in which a coloring pigment, a wax and a charge controlling agent are dispersed in a binder resin, the binder resin comprises: A) at least 90 mol% of an acid unit is derived from terephthalic acid; 90 mol% or more of the alcohol unit is derived from bisphenol A, the weight average molecular weight [Mw] is in the range of 15,000 to 30,000, and the number average molecular weight [Mn] is in the range of 3,000 to 5,000. A certain high molecular weight polyester resin, and (B) a weight average molecular weight [Mw] of 30,000 to 100,000, a number average molecular weight [Mn] of 1,500 to 5,000, and the high molecular weight polyester resin (A). The wax contains a low molecular weight resin component in a range smaller than the number average molecular weight [Mn], and the wax is dispersed in an amount of 3 to 8 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the binder resin. And wherein the are. [Selection diagram] None. |
