abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace glass having a low linear expansion coefficient, excellent optical characteristics, and applicable to a liquid crystal display element substrate including an active matrix type, an organic EL display element substrate, a color filter substrate, a touch panel substrate, a solar cell substrate and the like. A possible transparent composite composition is provided. SOLUTION: The transparent composite composition comprises a transparent resin (a) and a glass filler (b), and has a HAZE of 5 or less on a haze meter. The difference between the refractive index of the transparent resin (a) and the refractive index of the glass filler (b) is preferably 0.01 or less, and the Abbe number of the transparent resin (a) is preferably 45 or more.
