titleOfInvention | Continuous production method of aromatic carbonates |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to efficiently produce an alkylaryl carbonate, a diaryl carbonate, or an aromatic carbonate composed of a mixture thereof from a dialkyl carbonate and an aromatic hydroxy compound in the presence of a catalyst, and to obtain a stable continuous without blocking a distillation column. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for continuously producing operable aromatic carbonates. SOLUTION: A dialkyl carbonate having 3 to 6 carbon atoms is reacted with an aromatic hydroxy compound in the presence of a catalyst to produce an alkyl aryl carbonate or an aromatic carbonate comprising a mixture of an alkyl aryl carbonate and a diaryl carbonate. In the production, the dialkyl carbonate and the aromatic hydroxy compound, which are the raw material compounds, are continuously supplied into the distillation column above the bottom of the column, and the catalyst is continuously supplied to the bottom of the column to remove the aliphatic alcohol as a by-product. A method for continuously producing aromatic carbonates continuously withdrawn from the top of a distillation column. [Selection diagram] None |
