abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a photocatalytic deodorizing system that ensures ultraviolet irradiation to a deodorizing filter while suppressing the ventilation resistance derived from the shape of a filter and a light source to a low level. A photocatalyst deodorizing system of the present invention has a deodorizing filter supporting a photocatalyst in a hollow columnar shape such as a cylindrical shape, an elliptical cylindrical shape, or a rectangular cylindrical shape, and a light source is provided on one side of an opening of the deodorizing filter. And a prism for changing the irradiation direction is arranged so that the irradiation light from the light source is condensed on the entire hollow inner surface of the deodorizing filter.
