abstract |
Provided is a high-performance electric power steering device in which sliding lubrication between a resin member and a metal member is favorably maintained for a long period of time, which provides excellent steering feel and high performance. An electric power steering apparatus for transmitting an auxiliary output from an electric motor to a steering mechanism of a vehicle via a reduction gear mechanism, wherein a driven gear of the reduction gear mechanism is provided with a resin on an outer periphery of a metal core tube. The reduction gear mechanism is lubricated by a grease composition comprising a composition and a resin part having gear teeth formed on an outer peripheral surface thereof, and a wax containing a polar group introduced into a molecular structure.
