titleOfInvention Method of manufacturing contact lenses
abstract A high-quality contact lens having excellent optical properties and having a smooth edge and surface that does not damage the cornea is manufactured at low cost. In a method of manufacturing a contact lens by filling a raw material into a space formed by combining a male mold and a female mold and polymerizing the material, a contact surface of the male mold and the female mold of the resin mold is bonded. The raw materials are filled and polymerized in a state of being fixed with the agent to produce a contact lens. This resin type is preferably made of a modified polyolefin, and the modified polyolefin has a light transmittance of 10% or more at a wavelength of 356 nm when the thickness is 0.5 mm. This mold is desirably a resin mold for producing contact lenses containing a modified polyolefin and a fatty acid ester having a hydroxyl group or an amino group of 5% by weight or less based on the weight of the resin mold.
