titleOfInvention Alkaline battery
abstract An object of the present invention is to suppress gas generation caused by a rapid battery reaction in a battery suitable for heavy load applications, and has no problem with gas generation in practical use and heavy load discharge. It is to realize an alkaline battery having excellent performance. An alkaline battery according to the present invention is an alkaline battery provided with a gelled zinc negative electrode containing a non-melonized zinc alloy powder, a gelling agent and an alkaline electrolyte, wherein the non-melonized zinc alloy powder has a particle size of 75 μm or less. By setting the ratio of particles to 3 to 7% and the ratio of particles of 300 μm or more to 5% or less, heavy load pulse characteristics are improved and generation of gas is suppressed.
