titleOfInvention Boron adsorption gel and method for treating boron-containing wastewater
abstract An inexpensive boron-adsorbing gel capable of efficiently removing boron from boron-containing wastewater and suppressing the amount of generated sludge, and a method for treating boron-containing wastewater using the same. The polymer has a three-dimensional structure of a crosslinked body or a reticulated body in which a polymer having a stimulus responsiveness such as a heat responsiveness or a pH responsiveness and a polymer having a boron adsorbing ability are mutually invaded. The boron-adsorbed gel and the swollen boron-adsorbed gel are contacted with a boron-containing wastewater to adsorb boron to the gel, and then the gel is contracted by giving a stimulus to respond to the gel. A method for treating boron-containing wastewater by removing the wastewater. [Selection diagram] None
